How can we stream a church service? How do we do the collection? And most importantly: how do we maintain togetherness at a time when your community needs it most?

For giving from home you will receive a unique QR code for people to scan and easily give to your church. Your church can also be found in the list of churches in the app. In this way, someone without a QR code can simply give during the service. Finally, we will help you by providing promotional materials to inform the church members about how Givt works.

How does location giving work?
The user will open the Givt app, select how much they want to give and then press the “Location” button. The app will pick up the GPS signal or the signal from a beacon and recognise that they are in your church.The user is asked to confirm they want to give to your church and the app confirms to them that the donation has been made so there are no misunderstandings.
Using the phone’s GPS signal, the app will know where the giver is and who to donate the money to. We will also provide you with a beacon to place in your church building. This sends a signal to the app to help to confirm what church the donors are in.
How does location giving work?
The user will open the Givt app, select how much they want to give and then press the “Location” button. QR codes
What makes Givt’s QR codes so suitable for remote church services? Many churches that use our donation solution while streaming a service use the QR code for this. We listed all the ins and outs of the QR code.
Gift Aid
When using Givt, it’s very easy to enable Gift Aid. No more filling out forms and collecting all donations by the end of the tax year. Givers can claim an extra 25p for every £1 they give to charity or church without any extra costs.
Video guidance
You can find a video here that you can use during the live stream. The video simply explains how the collection works now that you are not gathering together. Use the video wherever you want, during your online gathering, on your website or, for example, in an email. Good luck!
